My Story
Unleashed Dog Training, LLC is a veteran-owned, small business with 20+ years certified dog training experience serving the Northwest Florida area. Matt, our head trainer and owner, began his dog training career in the United States Air Force, when he was a trainer for the elite Presidential K-9 unit at Andrews AFB, Maryland. Unleashed Dog Training can help you solve simple to complex dog problems from advice on puppy potty training to eliminating aggressive behaviors with our comprehensive dog obedience training programs.
Our Services
Proper training is an essential part of being a good and responsible dog owner. As professional Dog Trainers, we’ve worked with all types dog breads and their owners. All of our dog training services are designed to give your pet the individual attention and care they need.
Dog Training
All of our dog training programs involve an intimate understanding of your dog’s natural and individual history. Your pet has plenty of potential to learn and understand commands and our techniques will lay the foundation for you to build upon. We combine your needs and wants with the natural attributes of your pet.
Distraction Training
Another aspect of our training is applying our techniques to real world activities. Dogs are very situational and if you only train in one location, like your living room or yard, then your dog will only understand the training in that one location. Your dog may understand the command “sit” in your living room when holding a treat in front of them but when you’re out in public they don’t follow through with your commands. As part of training, your pup will have lessons in various places such as parks, stores, restaurants, and beaches to ensure they are ready for any distraction.
Board & Train
Unlike your typical board and train facility, our Dog Trainers take your pup into their homes to live with them. Not only will it make your dog more comfortable being in a home environment but it will also make the transfer of training easier from our home to yours. This also helps to keep up with the consistency of training and your pup will be fully immersed in the “trainer life” for the duration of their stay.
Boarding
We also offer regular boarding services from doggy-day care to over night sleepovers. When your pup boards with us they become part of our family!
